Description:  Bats play important roles in many ecosystems, including urban spaces. We will discuss the status of Ohio’s bat populations, how bats use habitat in urban areas, and management tips and considerations to avoid conflicts while supporting bat conservation.

Presenter: Marne Titchenell, OSU Extension’s Wildlife Program Director

Bio: Marne is the Extension Wildlife Program Director, with the Ohio State University. She works within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences in the School of Environment and Natural Resources. She provides a variety of educational programs, workshops, conferences, and publications centered on wildlife ecology and biology, habitat management for wildlife, and managing nuisance wildlife species.
