Description: Beech Leaf Disease (BLD) is a newly discovered and rapidly spreading disease causing significant decline of beech trees in the Northeast and Midwest. Bio: Brady Holko graduated from Kent State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Botany and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Plant Health Management from The Ohio State University. Brady works as a botanist and laboratory technician at the Davey Institute where she performs plant problem diagnosis and beech leaf disease research.
